    How Do They See Us?

How do adults, parents, kids, and teachers see teenagers? Find out here.

We went around asking random people how they generally viewed teens today. We got a wide variety of answers.

Elderly People - this group of people generally decided that most of today's youth respect them and are very helpful. Why is this? This is probably because teens feel respect for their grandparents and and the elderly. They act differently around them than they do around their parents.

Middle Aged - they generally felt that teens were very disrespectful towards them. This is probably because teens act out against their parents, and many of these people were parents. Part of a teens job is to make things difficult for their parents. Why is this? Probably because if they made their parents happy all of the time, then what would the parents do? They would expect more from the kids.

    - this group felt that the teens were disrespectful, or really nice. It all depended on who you talked to. It you were talking to someone that is in their early 20's, then they just left their teens, and probably have some teen friends left. The older ones may remember being picked on in school, so they feel that the teens are disrespectful.

Kids - they almost all felt that they were very "nice and kind". Although most of the ones that had teenage brothers or sisters thought that they were "pretty mean". A teenagers job is to torment younger siblings. It helps make their parents life difficult. They can't make it easy for then.
